We all love pets and most of us have had a pet sometimes, somewhere, right? Then you must have also faced problems with pets pooping around, nibbling at household things sometimes even hurting your kids!

This can be easily avoided by helping the pet to a pet training course. Expert trainers who know how to teach pets to have in various household situations conduct these courses. There are a number of obedience schools that provide pet training courses (particularly dogs). Pet Training usually takes place in small groups. In addition to training pets themselves, pet training schools also teach pet owners how to become a pet trainer. Professional dog trainers more often than not do not train the dogs, but actually train the owners how to be pet or dog trainers.

Giga Pets – Bitty Kitty

11/05/2019 0

Giga Pets are digital pets (also known as virtual pets or artificial pets) that were first released in the United States by Tiger Electronics in 1997 in the midst of a virtual-pet toy fad.[1] Available in a variety of different characters, essentially each is a palm-sized video screen attached to a key ring.[2] To ensure a happy, healthy pet, its owner has to take care of it in some of the same ways one might care for a real animal. Among other things, Giga Pets have to be fed, cleaned, and played with. [Description Credit to Wikipedia: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Giga_Pet]

Bitty Kitty was one of several digital pet toys, marketed through the Kentucky Fried Chicken chain of restaurants, in the mid to late 1990’s.

Nancy asks…

Is it possible for my computer to write japanese?

I just wanted to know if I can write japanese signs on my computer… If possible, how?

Carol answers:

In most Windows Operating Systems you can easily turn this option on by going to your Control Panel and double clicking on Regional and Language Options.

Once this is open, go to the Keyboards and Languages tab and click the button Change Keyboards. You will see an “Add” button under the “General” tab, click that and in the following displayed list scroll down to Japanese and click the + to expand the menu. Under “Japanese (Japan)” : “Keyboard”, ensure that Japanese and Microsoft IME are selected with a check mark. Click “OK” to continue.

In the “General” tab again, make sure that the default input language is set to your native language or most used (in mine, … Read More

Read More

Virtual Pets (And You Thought Beanie Babies Were a Nuisance!)

Some principals are taking the byte out of "virtual pets," one of the latest fads to hit the United States. Should the distracting critters be banned?

Most principals are praying that the virtual pet craze will die out by the time fall rolls around. But, as the popularity of virtual pets—or "virtual pests," as some principals call them—grows, so does the number of principals forced to deal with distractions the digital dogs and dinosaurs can cause in U.S. classrooms. More than a few school principals have banned the cyber critters from their schools!

"First we were overrun with Beanie Babies, then all of a sudden teachers started commenting that the kids seemed to be taking a lot of long bathroom breaks," Bud Rivard, assistant … Read More
