Pets At Home Spooky Ball – Metropolis Events

The ‘Spooky’ Charity Ball was held at The Monastery in Manchester for 420 guests in November 2011.

Halloween 2011: “Spooky Ball” charity event
Event devised and run by Metropolis Events, for Pets At Home
Venue: The Monastery, Manchester

The theme was chosen to fit with the time of year, and the magnificent venue was chosen as the perfect one to set the scene.

The event raised funds for the Pets at Home chosen charity ‘Support Adoption for Pets’.

Burvil and Mantequilla PaH vid

Burvil & Mantequilla came from a Pets at Home store, the Charlton one, and they got a 25th birthday pair of specs with their vouchers.

While they’d prefer PaH didn’t buy Guinea Pigs and Bunnies from breeders, when rescues are turning animals away because they are full, they are still customers and encourage anyone who wants a Guinea Pig to use the Adoption for Pets area rather than buy the babies that came from the breeders.

I got Waddles ( Waldo is his nickname) in the Support Adoption for Pets section in my Pets at Home, so he was adopted.
He is about 4 months old we believe ( or it could be 20 weeks).
He isn’t tamed yet and is still settling in for a few more days.
